Swim Team Practices Begin TODAY!
Swim team practices begin TODAY and the team is looking forward to another great summer!

MCSL has agreed to once again permit Parkland’s swimmers to join the Kemp Mill team. Please spread the word with your friends at Parkland!
VOLUNTEERS: The Kangaroos run on parent power! We have a small team, so we need every family to help out.
If your swimmer participates in a meet, you will be expected to help at that meet. If you can help with a season long swim team task, let me know ASAP. We need your help to make a successful swim team!
PRACTICES: Practice starts Tuesday, May 29th! Please come to either afternoon practice session for the first week.
Coaches will assign practice times based on ability after the first week of practice.
Group one: 4:30-5:15 p.m.;
Group two: 5:15-6:30 p.m.
8-9 p.m., May 29-June 15 (while school is in session); 9-10 p.m., June 18-July 13
(during summer vacation).
SEASON DATES: The website has all the dates that are finalized so far. Note that Time Trials and Team Photo will be on Sun., June 3rd. The Awards Ceremony will be on Thurs., July 19th.
We will have two A Meets and two or three B Meets at home this season. All of our A meets to non-Saturdays, so more of our team can participate! See the complete team schedule at https://kangaroos.swimtopia.com/calendar-overview .

FEES: For 2018 the fees include t-shirts. Contact the Rep if your family can’t afford the fee. Go to kangaroos.swimtopia.com to register.
- One swimmer family: $75
- Two swimmer family: $140
- Three or more swimmer family: $190
- Registration fee per KMSC family: $20
- Registration fee per Parkland family: $30

Swim Lesson Registrations Are Under Way!
Swim Lessons are available for members and non-members this year.
REGISTRATION: Online registration is OPEN! Go to kangaroos.swimtopia.com to register.
We will be offering private and semi-private swim lessons with our lifeguard staff and coaches.
For our members, there will be a $20 registration fee per child to be paid when registering your child for lessons.
For non-members, there will be a $30 registration fee per child to be paid when registering your child for lessons.
PRIVATE LESSONS: A private lesson is a 1:1 ratio between student and instructor. Each lesson is 30 minutes long, and costs $30/lesson paid directly to your instructor.
SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS: A semi-private lessons is for 2 or 3 children and one instructor. You must indicate to use who you will be sharing your lessons with when making arrangements.
