SHARK SHOUT OUTS
- Our Monomoy Sharks are terrific, and I would like to thank AFS student, Teresa Nobre for her lovely presentation about her home, Portugal, to my CWII: Global Outlook class. Thanks also go to Julia Brown and Gabe Simoes for their terrific presentations about Brazil. All three kids were amazing!
Congratulations to Senior Paul Carlson!
Paul Carlson has recently earned his Eagle Scout Award, the highest achievement that you can earn in Boy Scouts of America. He has successfully earned his 21 merit badges and completed his service project.
For his project, Paul fundraised, built, and donated benches for the Riverbay Association in Chatham.
Congratulations to Paul!
Another Successful Credit for Life Fair!
Last Friday, our Senior class participated in MRHS's annual Credit for Life Fair! By using an app on their computers, students create a profile and select a future profession to determine their income. Next, students move around and visit booths to purchase everything they will need to live as young adults based on their monthly paycheck, savings account, and/or a credit card. This half-day event is a great way for students to gain a better understanding of life, finances and expectations!
Thank you so much for everyone's incredible support for the Credit for Life Fair! It was such a successful day for our Seniors.
