A Message from your School Leaders
Dear Wentworth Families,
As the fall conference window winds down we want to once again express our gratitude to the many families who took the time to come meet with us here at school. A partnership between home and school leads to success for students!
Reminder that we have school on Monday and Tuesday next week, and then no school Wednesday through Friday (11/22-11/24) for Thanksgiving break. Wishing you all a peaceful holiday. May the year ahead be filled with an abundance of peace and love for all!
With gratitude,
Kelli Crosby ~ Principal

My Ride K-12
The next phase in the implementation of our bus safety and accountability software is the opening of the parent portal , My Ride K-12. The My Ride K-12 app allows you and your student the ability to access estimated times for your bus' arrival, to monitor where the bus is in real time, to confirm your child when your child is boarding or disembarking from the bus, ultimately ensuring that your child is accounted for and safe as it relates to bussing. The application uses GPS technology to provide the most accurate route data with real-time updates. The application also allows for notifications to be sent to you, in the case that there are any specific changes to your bus on an emergent basis.
Linked below are step by step directions to take you through setting up the app on your computer or on a mobile phone if you are interested in doing so.

My Ride K-12 gets all of its information about who is riding the bus each day from students swiping on and off with their cards. Please help us on a day to day basis by making sure your child has and is using their bus card every day, so you can check on your child using the app as needed and so drivers don't have to individually select your student by hand on the program. Although we recognize that from time to time, a student may forget their card, we also know that our drivers do not have time to hand select 70 students on a given bus route as a daily responsibility in the short time they have your children.
Please check in with your children to establish a routine and find a safe place for their cards. Reach out if you need a replacement. The bus department will also be communicating with you to let you know if your child has not been using a card so you can help to reinforce the importance of this safety feature.
