The Mini Maverick Messenger is our monthly PTA communication to all our wonderful Ogle Families. This is your one stop shop to find upcoming events, fundraisers, photos, volunteer opportunities, & updated information passed along from our PTA meetings. Happy Holidays from your Ogle PTA! We hope all of our families have a wonderful Winter Break this month and the opportunity to enjoy time with loved ones. Don't forget students will be off from Friday, December 22nd till Monday, January 8th! Ogle will be ready to welcome students back on Tuesday, January 9th!

We love our Ogle Community and how everyone comes together to celebrate and show appreciation! For the month of November our Hospitality Chair, Cierra Graham, helped organize our Annual Pie Drive for the Ogle Staff. We had SIXTY PIES of all varieties donated by our families!! The drive made it possible for each staff member to take home a pie, including those with dietary restrictions. It was a beautiful setup and everyone was so grateful!

The month of November also brought in donations for our Small World Angels! We are excited to announce that ALL donations for each of the five children were generously donated by our Ogle Families, THANK YOU! We also appreciate the hard work put in to organize this event by our school counselor, Mrs Green, and our PTA Room Representative, Amy Merritt.

Our PTA appreciates every volunteer who assists our community, and as a small thank you we will be announcing a volunteer each month who will be awarded with a special thank you. For December, we send a very special THANK YOU to our Volunteer of the Month, "Top Dog" Don Bailey! Don has dedicated countless hours this school year leading the Watch D.O.G.S. program at Ogle. Not only has Don gone above and beyond to build up the program but he is always available to lend a hand at events, or after hours to help the PTA Board. Don jumped right in helping the PTA set up our new storage closet, to cleaning up at the Fall Festival, and he was even seen organizing the lost & found. Don was one of our first Watch D.O.G.S. on campus this year, he had a very special day visiting his boys Colt (2nd grade) and Henry (1st grade.) We greatly appreciate Don, as well as his wife Chantel, for making the Ogle Ohana a welcoming and great place to be! Thank you Bailey Family!!

1. Work Room Volunteers: Supporting our teachers by helping with lamination, cutting, sorting, stapling, etc. *All materials provided and younger siblings are welcome to join*

2. Lunch Room Helpers: Providing additional monitoring of students and assisting with various tasks in the lunchroom alongside a teacher

3. Watch D.O.G.S. (any male figure (or female!)): Spend the day on campus volunteering with your student & helping in your child's classroom

We are very proud to be recipients of the Golden Apple by reaching 100% PTA Membership with our Ogle Staff! We could not have received this honor without the support of Mr. McCarty and our amazing faculty at Ogle! We greatly appreciate the continued support this year across our PTA in helping to make every child's potential a reality!
