Transportation Update 11/27/2023

SISD Family,

As you are aware, the Town of Sunnyvale is improving the community's roadways in the $9.3 million road improvement project recently approved by the Sunnyvale Town Council. The general schedule for the project is available on The Town of Sunnyvale's website. Be sure to review the schedule so that you can be mindful of the overall construction plan.

Good News!

Construction on Tripp Road, Jobson Road, and Town East Road are finished. Routes that run on Bus 18, Bus 19, Bus 24, and Bus 25 should begin to run on a consistent schedule.

Bus 16

Northbound Collins Road and Northbound East Fork Road are still closed.

Route is run in the following order:

Polly Road, Barnes Bridge Road, Collins Road, Gloria Road, East Fork Road, Tripp Road, Rebecca Road, Pascall Road.

New Closure beginning 11/27/2023: Northbound Paschall. This will not affect us at this time. We will still be picking up and dropping off on the same buses.

Bus 24

AM Order: SES/SIS - New Hope/Homestead, Sunview, Greenway, Tanner Creek, Barnes Bridge Road, Mitchell, Bethany, Winn

Leave 6:38 AM Arrive at New Hope around 6:45 AM

SMS/SHS: Sunview, Greenway, Tanner Creek, Barnes Bridge, Mitchell, Bethany, Winn

Leave 7:30 AM Arrive at Sunview around 7:40 AM

Changes to Bus 12

We are going to run the same order. Only effect will be the Preserve getting home a little later because we have to go down Stoney Creek to Jobson Road and come in from the North. In the morning, everyone needs to be ready a couple minutes earlier than normal. SMS/SHS route in the afternoons will get home a couple minutes later than normal.
