Important Dates, Announcements, and Reminders
Madison Mondays! Don't forget your Live Like Madison shirts!
5/27 - Memorial Day Holiday - No School
- 5/28 - Students will receive their EOG score and their growth
- 5/29 - RTA Test for third graders - letters will go home Tuesday the 28th for those that take this test
- 5/30 - 3rd - 5th grade Field Day - Parents are invited but must check-in at the front office for a Visitors Tag
- 5/31 - 3rd grade Re-Test
- 5/31 - Hibbett Attendance Winners pizza party
- 6/3 - 6/4 - PBIS Award Days - permission slips required and this is a behavior award
- 6/3 - Pre-K graduation at 9:00 a.m.
- 6/4 - EOY Awards Ceremony for K - 2nd grade at 8:30 a.m. and 3rd and 4th grade at 10:00 a.m.
- 6/5 - 5th grade graduation at 8:30 a.m.
-Due to parking and the amount of visitor on campus this day - we are asking staff to use the front parking lot and for 5th grade parents and visitors for graduation to use the side parking lot between Laurel Hill and Carver. Please do not park in the bus parking lot or the traffic circle
- 6/5 - Last day of school - dismissal is at 11:00 a.m.
- 6/6 - 3rd - 5th grade Remediation Day from 8:00 - 12:00 p.m.
- 6/7 and 6/10 - Re-Test Days for 3rd grade Math, 4th grade, and 5th grade
- 6/11 - 6/25 - Summer school begins - 8:00 - 2:30 p.m. at Wagram Elementary (for Laurel Hill and Wagram students)

Grades 3-5 on May 30th
8:30 - 10:30 - morning session
12:00 - 2:00 - afternoon session
Graduations and Awards Day -
June 3 - Pre-K graduation - 9:00 a.m.
June 4 - Awards Day - K - 2 - 8:30 a.m.
June 4 - Awards Day - 3 - 5 - 10:00 a.m.

Please note that this form can only be submitted to excuse 10 absences before a doctors note will be required. After the 10th absence a doctor's note must be submitted. All submissions that do not contain a doctor's note must be submitted within 10 days of the absence.
A submission should be made for each student within a family. One submission will not cover all students.

Bus Behavior Incentives
Most of our discipline referrals last year were from buses. We are making PBIS (positive behavior interventions and support) stronger with adding bus rewards! Student earn coupons to go into a drawing each month for prizes!
Principal coupons
Our behavior was down 25% last year and we want to keep the trend going! We are making PBIS (positive behavior interventions and support) stronger with adding Principal Tickets! Student earn coupons to go into a drawing each month for ice cream and lunch with Mrs. Hood!
Student Success Strategies and Grade Level News
Pre-K -
Kindergarten - Our classes are having fun with end-of-the-year activities! We are counting down the last days with our class families.❤️
First Grade -
Second Grade- Read daily, practice those addition and subtraction facts, complete your homework each week and please check your child’s folder and Class Dojo each day for any important messages that may be sent. In addition, please remind your child to do their best each day and on their end of year tests that are coming up this week.
Third Grade -. Read 20 minutes each night. Study multiplication and division facts.
