We are holding an informational session on Tuesday, May 16th from 6-7 pm in room C350.
In this info session, we’ll talk about:
- How this opportunity will benefit your child
- What we’ll see and do on our trip
- Everything that’s included in this experience
- How we’re keeping this safe and affordable
- How to enroll on this trip (before it fills up!) during EF’s risk-free enrollment period
Registration for the info session is mandatory, and a parent or guardian must attend. (Can’t make it? Choose “No, but send info” so you don’t miss out.) Register here: https://bit.ly/44wSqSU. There’s also a $100 discount available to those who rsvp and enroll by 5/30/2023.

COLLEGE & SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION
Counseling Office Newsletter
Friday, May 5th Counselor Connection Newsletter
Attention, Parents! Eagan’s July 4th Funfest is currently looking for scholarship candidates!
The Funfest scholarship program revolves around volunteerism and developing leaders who will serve as positive role models as ambassadors for the Funfest and our community.
Ambassadors spend a year (July 2023 – July 2024) visiting other communities throughout the Twin Cities area; participating in parades, coronations, and volunteer work. These experiences provide valuable leadership skills and create memories to last a lifetime. At the end of the year, Ambassadors are rewarded with a $2,000 scholarship!
Candidates must live in Apple Valley, Burnsville, Eagan, or Rosemount. Several Eastview High School students have participated in this program over the years and have made a huge difference in our community.
There will be an information meeting on Wednesday, May 10th, 7:00pm, at the Eagan Community Center. To learn more about the Scholarship Program visit: https://eaganfunfest.org/ambassadors/.
Upcoming College Visits
UPCOMING COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY VISITS
Students should stop by the Counseling Office and get a pass to attend the college/university/military Rep Visit prior to the right visit. These university/college or military visits are small group meetings typically lasting 20/30 minutes. These admission reps are often times the same people that review college applications, so it's a great connection for students.

Info Needed for Spring Senior Athlete Celebration
Attention families of Seniors planning to compete in collegiate athletics:
As of 2019, the NCAA process now allows signings for most sports on almost any day of the year. As a result of the greatly expanded dates as well as wanting to celebrate all of our college participants we will hold one large-scale signing opportunity on the evening of May 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the Main Gym that recognizes all of our athletes who will be continuing on to compete in athletics at the collegiate level regardless of division or receipt of athletic aid. In the past we only recognized official NLI signings which excluded many of our athletes competing at the Division III level and this allows us to celebrate all of our Senior Athletes in one ceremony. Individual athletes and/or their Eastview team are encouraged to celebrate all collegiate signings in their own ways, but we will hold our school-wide signing ceremony at our Spring Senior Athlete Celebration in May along with our all-school athletic department award winners. Please let us know in the Athletic Office if you need assistance with any paperwork etc.
In order to both collect information for our ceremony in May, as well as to be able to share information with the local media, please have your athlete fill out the brief survey at this link: https://forms.gle/V2haN6AR7tjsKT2i6 Thanks and congrats on your commitment to participate in collegiate athletics!
