Charging for new IDs starts Monday, 10/16/2023
Parents and Students,
Starting tomorrow, October 16, 2023 all replacement IDs will be charge $5 per replacement. Students will receive a replacement ID and lanyard when they come to school and do not have theirs. Students will be charged $5 and parents will be notified via email. We realllllllly need you to talk to your child about remembering their ID every single day. We remind them everyday at dismissal to put the ID in their backpack. Payment for ID replacement should be paid the following day of school and students will not be able to attend special events if they have a balance. All unpaid balances will be added to the students obligation screen in SIS and goes with them as they progress through school. Again, please make sure your child has their ID daily.
IDs continue to add a layer of safety to our campus. Students who are supposed to be on campus can be identified at all times and in a crisis, anyone can identify our students and faculty. This is also official school district policy.
Thank you,
~Mr. P.

A Message From Superintendent Burke
October 10, 2023
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Our hearts are with our students, staff, and families impacted by the horrific events in the Middle East and the emotional impact it may have on our community. Our staff stands ready to support our students and families in any way that they may need.
In our District, we stress the values of respect, tolerance, and inclusivity. We are committed to safe and secure schools that foster a welcoming environment for all students, regardless of their background or beliefs.
Antisemitism, like any form of discrimination or hatred, has no place in our schools or community. Our schools will not tolerate antisemitism, and we will take appropriate action to address and prevent any instances that may arise.
We encourage you, as parents, to engage in conversations with your children about the importance of respect, empathy, and the harmful consequences of prejudice. Together, we can help our students develop a deeper understanding of the world and learn to appreciate the diversity of perspectives and backgrounds that make our community unique.
If you have concerns or encounter issues related to any form of discrimination on our campuses, please do not hesitate to reach out to our school administrators or counselors. We are here to support our students and ensure their well-being.
Respectfully,
Michael J. Burke
Superintendent

NEW Daily Schedule this year
In years past, we have had White, Maroon, and Gold Days.... each of those days starting with a different period of the day. This year we are moving to a 6 period rotation. Each day will start with a new period. For example, the first day of school will start with the student's 1st period class. The second day of school will start with the student's 2nd period class and so on. On a "Second Period Day" the rotation will be 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 1 and on a 4th Period Day, the rotation will be 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3. This gives every class the opportunity to start the day and end the day. It also helps with early releases for sports. Don't worry, we will help our students know what period we are starting the day with and help them throughout the day. Below is our rotational schedule for the year. Whatever number appears on that date, is the period we start with for that day.
