We have another Vitalant Blood Drive coming up on September 18, 2023 at the Best Western University Inn. If you went last time, you'll know there were some amazing snacks and some great company! This event not only helps to save lives, it raises funds for our school. See the flyer below for details. Scan the QR code to register or just show up. Please help us by reaching out to friends who may be willing to donate and share the pdf below. There is no need for donors to be affiliated with the school. Welcome to Parent Crew!
Congrats to all parents on a sweet start to another school year at PPCS! You Are ALL part of this incredible Parent Crew that helps to support our school space, the students, teachers and each-other. One of the things that draws families to PPCS is the motto “We Are Crew, Not Passengers” and your parent crew leadership team is really grateful to all of you that show up in so many ways to keep this educational community moving on down the river.
This year we have great things planned and we need your help to make them memorable and fun!
First, save the date for Covey Day September 29th - our Welcome BBQ and Run The Palouse fundraiser is all wrapped up in one inclusive event on Friday the 29th. Details coming soon.
Second, please complete the Parent Crew Volunteer form and let us know some ways you’d be willing to give back to your school. If you’re interested in helping out with Covey Day, Book Fairs, Teacher Appreciation events, being a parent crew grade representative, or anything else there are many opportunties to get involved.
Reach out to us at ppcsparentcrew@gmail.com with questions or concerns you may have, okay?
With gratitude,

The beginning of the school year is a great time to empower yourself and your kiddos with social emotional strategies that are impactful and fun. PPCS parent and educator, Kristine Petterson, is offering her 8-week Mindful Parenting program this fall for parents who are looking for ways to move away from power struggles and into greater cooperation, responsibility and connection.
You can learn more about the class here. Send an email to Kristine at kpettersonsleep@gmail.com if you’re interested in receiving a 50% off scholarship for PPCS parents.
