Welcome to June Round Two—also known as July!

Our Summer Learning Initiative continues this month, so keep reading, working on your projects, and getting your prize tickets turned in. We’re halfway through, so keep up the good work.

Our Family Events continue throughout the month on Wednesdays at 2:00. Remember that we don’t have much space in our building, so those events happen at the New Freedom Outreach Center at 250 Mountain Ave. The Teen/Tween Events continue here in the library each Thursday at 2:00 also. See below or our website for the full line-up of performers and events.

Remember that we’ll be closed on Tuesday, July 4, for Independence Day.

If you need a space to keep cool during the month, come in and hang out with us for a while. We love to have you.

We are fully open to the public! Come on in to see us 10am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-4pm (closed from 12-1pm for lunch and cleaning) on Saturdays.

Curbside hours are constant every day, Monday through Saturday, from 10am until 5pm. Please email us at curbside.bcld@gmail.com or give us a call and let us know what we can gather for you. We'll arrange a time to pick up for contactless delivery.

We will be closed Tuesday, July 4th for Independence day. We will reopen with our regular hours on Wednesday, July 5th.

Month two of Summer Learning!

It isn't too late to participate! July 31st is the last day to register, and August 12th is the last day to collect prizes. The winners of the prize drawing will be announced by August 19th.

We are so excited to welcome you in the Library for our Annual Summer Learning Initiative. Whether this is your first year participating or one of many, we are so grateful for your participation.

We have family events every Wednesday and teen/tween events every Thursday at 2PM.

Join us for Sunshine Storytime every Wednesday & Friday at 10:30AM.

Let's play at the library! Musical Moments is especially designed for preschool children. Stop by every other Friday at 4PM starting on June 2nd to learn, play, and sing at the Berthoud Community Library.

July's Musical Moments dates are the 14th and 28th.

Join us on July 5th at 2PM as Denver Museum educators fuel your kiddos' passion and curiosity for nature and science—challenging them to experiment, play, and solve mysteries together.

This event will be held at New Freedom Outreach Center, 250 Mountain Avenue.

An Ann Lincoln show usually consists of a combination of comedy, juggling & circus skills, magic involving birds, bunnies & audience members and might even include Ann juggling with a bowling ball!

Come see Ann Lincoln perform on Wednesday July 12th at 2PM at New Freedom Outreach Center, 250 Mountain Avenue.

Join Fort Collins Circus Center from 2-3 pm on July 19th for free performances from their Evolution Teen Performance Group, as well as playing with them and their flow props!

This event will be held at New Freedom Outreach Center, 250 Mountain Avenue.

We will have a petting zoo on July 26th at 2PM! The petting zoo will be located behind New Freedom Outreach Center in their parking lot.

The Bermuda Triangle is a space in the North Atlantic where ships, planes, and people have allegedly gone missing. Roughly, its borders run from Florida to Bermuda to Puerto Rico. We challenge you to make it through this puzzle room created by Kara Reiman of Maine State Library, Augusta, ME.

This event will be on July 6th at 2PM. Please register for this event.

Pick a book to read from a short list of novels that have become Netflix series, like Locke and Key, Trollhunters, the Mysterious Benedict Society and more. Read the book and come prepared to give a summary. Then exchange books with another participant.

Join us for this event on July 13th at 2PM. Registration is required.

Be ready to get wet with these water moving, squirt gun and water ball tossing games.

This event will be held at the Berthoud Community Library at 2PM on July 20th.

Register and enjoy this free yoga class led by Christy Headrick on July 27th at 2PM.

Beginning June 1st, come into the Library and ask for a punch card. For every book you read you will receive a punch on your card. Once a punch card is full you will turn it to the front desk staff to enter the grand prize drawing.

This year's grand prize is 2 tickets to Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, an exceptional dinner and theatre hall in Johnstown, CO. There will be four drawings for 2 tickets each.

*No Writer's Group on July 3rd.

Join us as we free-write, critique, and hone our craft together.

All genres of writing welcome. We meet every Monday from 10:30AM to 11:45AM.

Our monthly Knit & Crochet Drop-in will meet on Friday the 28th of July from 1-4PM.

This is not a class, just a place for fellow crafters to meet and knit/crochet together. This is a drop-in event.
