ACES Informational Webinar for Prospective Families
ACES held an informational webinar for prospective families on May 24. The webinar was recorded and added to the ACES website "About" page. If you know families considering coming to ACES who were not able to attend, please let them know where to find the video and have them get in touch with any questions!
Last Meeting of The Club for the Year
ACES afterschool club, The Club, will hold its last meeting of the year on Wednesday, June 7. Thank you to all our great students, and to advisors Kristin Simeone, Anne Windsor, and Ting Fang for making this year great. Below are a few photos of Club activities during recent weeks.

Graduating Seniors
New info: Senior Checkout List
June 13 is the last day of school for Seniors who have been cleared for graduation (see below). Students who have not been cleared must continue to attend to work on classes or complete other requirements.
The graduation checklist includes:
- Get teacher signature indicating passing grade on all required classes
- Get counselor signature that graduation requirements are completed
- Complete High School & Beyond Plan
- Return laptops (and chargers!), and any additional tech items (such as district hot spots)
- Return textbooks
- Return all library materials
- Pay any outstanding fines and fees
- Request transcript from Parchment
Check-in for district items (laptops, textbooks, etc.) will take place at ACES on Monday, June 12. Graduating seniors are expected to attend on June 13, even if cleared for graduation.
Fines: If you would like to check whether your student owes any fines or fees, call Liz in the front office at (425) 366-3910.
Graduation
Graduation will take place on June 15 @ 6pm, at the Rosehill Community Center in Mukilteo. There is a large parking lot and additional on-street parking. Doors will open at 5:30 for guests. Each student will get up to five tickets for seating (additional seating tickets may be available and will be divided among students requesting extras). Once seats are filled, additional guests will be able to enter at 5:45.
Students should arrive at 3:30pm for photos and a final rehearsal. Students will be given a diploma holder at graduation and will need to pick up their actual diploma at ACES.
Students must purchase their own tassel, available in the front office. They may be purchased from Liz for $15, payable by check, cash or credit card.
Students may borrow caps, gowns, and stoles from ACES. If students choose to decorate a borrowed cap it must be removable so that no permanent changes are made. Students may purchase their own cap if they wish to make permanent changes or decorations (see Liz in the front office if you prefer to purchase your own cap/gown/stole from Jostens). All decorations must be school appropriate. If a student prefers to purchase a cap and gown from Amazon to keep, they will still need to borrow one of ours for the ceremony because we are unable to guarantee they will match.
Senior Breakfast
The Senior Breakfast takes place on Tuesday, June 6 at Le Bistro (at Sno-Isle). It is free for students. There will be graduation rehearsal from 8-9:35 in the gym at ACES and students must attend the rehearsal to participate in the breakfast. Students are required to take the bus to the breakfast; we'll leave ACES at 9:45 and return by noon, in time to attend 6th and 7th periods.
