Principal Message
I hope you are all doing well. Parents and families, please remember that our students always go outside for recess, so it is important that they bring a coat to school. Hopefully the snow is over, but it's certainly still cold and wet outside. We do have an abundance of lost and found. If your child is missing their coat, please check there.
Also, a quick reminder that the end of the first semester is this Thursday, February 1st. There will be no school on Friday, February 2nd, and Monday, February 5th, so teachers can prepare report cards and get ready for the second half of the school year. Please keep an eye out for report cards coming in the mail early/mid February.
Take care,
Cheryl Marshall
Principal

Student Drop-off and Pick-up Reminders
Arrival
- If you are dropping off your student in the drop off lane, please stay in your car, and pull all the way forward.
- Do not let students out until you go past the cross walk area in the turn around, this prevents back-up. Wait until you have passed the crosswalk and then pull all the way forward and let your student out.
- It is essential we keep this area flowing quickly to avoid additional backups on Jackson School Road.
- If you think your child will need additional time to get out of booster seats/car seats or will need help walking into the building, please park and walk your student to the front of the building. Parking may be the most convenient on the street.
- Do not pass cars or go around them when they are letting kids out of their car and then whip around to get into the drop off lane. This has almost caused multiple collisions. Wait until they pull forward.
Dismissal

SafeOregon. Feel Safe. Be Safe.
All kids should feel safe and be safe at school. SafeOregon gives kids, parents, schools, and their communities a way to confidentially or anonymously report safety threats or potential acts of violence. Together, we'll empower people to speak out and spark change. One tip can save a life.
Every Student Belongs
If you believe a bias incident has occurred, there are two ways to report the incident, our HSD Mobile App and Oregon Safe. These incidents could be student to student, student to staff, or staff to student.
