Thank you for all your support during teacher appreciation week. The teachers loved every card, flower, snack, and gift. We sincerely appreciate you going above and beyond to show our teachers how much they mean to you and your student.

This week is STAAR test week!!! Your young leader has prepared so hard all year for this week. We believe in them and their ability to succeed.

Parents we really need your help with attendance. Students are to arrive on campus by 7:45am everyday. When students are tardy they are missing out on how we develop and educate the whole student. When your child is late is causes stress and anxiety because they enter a classroom that has already started instruction. Tardiness requires your child to play catch up as a way to start their day.

Perfect attendance is a goal for all of our students. We understand emergencies happen and students are sometimes ill. If your child is not experiencing an illness with fever or COVID related symptoms, we ask that they come to school.

If your student has 0 tardy slips & 0 absences, they will be eligible for FREE DRESS FRIDAY at the end of the grading cycle!!!!!

For the safety of our students, we will no longer allow drop off or pick up of students in the teacher parking lot. This is a safety violation. All drop off and pick up of students will occur in the circular drive.

Students are not to start arriving before 7:15am because safety is our top priority and students must be monitored/supervised.

When parents drop their students off before staff arrives, it becomes a safety concern.

Also, parents must ensure that their student(s) enter the building in the designated grade-level entry ways. This is to support an orderly transition and mitigate the spread of COVID.

There will be no early dismissal after 2:30 pm. This is due to an increase in the amount of traffic and for the safety of your child. Any early dismissal requests must be before 2:30pm Monday - Friday.

Please complete the form sent home on Friday, April 28th and return to your child’s teacher to reserve seats for the awards ceremony. For the safety of all families, we are limiting 2 seats per child. We are asking all families to complete the attached form and return to help us plan for all in attendance. Your child will learn about the importance of being an effective leader and finding their voice. Students will spend the first 15 minutes of the morning learning the habits of highly effective people, developing academic and personal goals, and organization with their own leadership notebook.
