Last week at SBDM I shared some updates on programming for our students that I am also excited to share with each of you. In January, we began Club/Flex Fridays. Each week, our middle school students get an extended block of time in the electives that they've chosen for the semester and our elementary school students get to explore a different club that they've selected. Some of our clubs include Yoga + Mindfulness, Coop Club (where we welcomed two baby chicks to campus named Rotisserie and Chick fil A), cooking club, and robotics. I encourage you to ask your students about the clubs they're participating in this semester.
Additionally, at the middle school we have over 200 eligible students who have applied for our dual-language program and about ¼ of them are current Rosemont students. This week, we will complete our campus-based tests and interviews. Notifications of acceptance go out on March 1.
As always, thank you for your partnership and support. If you have any feedback on the specific things you're most interested in reading about in our newsletter each week, please don't hesitate to reach out to me!
