Please make sure you are not using your cell phones in the halls between classes. This includes wearing earbuds as you listen to music on your way to your destination, taking selfies and other photos (BIG NO-NO) and texting. You need to get from point A to point B safely and on time.
Cell phones are a privilege at Hyre and in the Akron Public Schools District and that privilege can be taken away if this continues to be a concern. You can have your phone taken away from you for the remainder of the day if you have it out and are using it between classes. If it continues, it could result in the remainder of the year or other consequences for not complying with the cell phone policy.
