Happy Thanksgiving
I wish you a joyful and restful Thanksgiving, whether gathering with family or friends, preparing a favorite dish, or slowing down after a busy fall. I am grateful for the students, staff, parents, and community who support our school in many ways and make Weathersfield School a caring and inspired place to learn and grow. Thank you, and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Middle School Author Visit Field Trip
Students in grades 6-8th grade had the opportunity to visit Hartland School on Monday, November 20, 2023 to listen to author Dr. Joseph Bruchac. It wass a great opportunity for students to listen and ask questions of a published author Dr. Joseph Bruchac. All the students had a great time. Thank you to our PTO for sponsoring this opportunity for our students.
Cold Weather Reminder
Just a friendly reminder that as the cold weather approaches that students need the proper cold weather attire to play outside at recess. Once the snow hits the ground and stays, we encourage all students to have snow pants and gloves to stay warm and dry.

Our Leadership students created the first annual Turkey Triathlon at Weathersfield School. Students in grades K-5 had the opportunity to compete in some fun activities during their lunch time that included a turkey toss, a turkey obstacle course and finally a turkey trot. All students seemed to enjoy themselves in competing in this festive activity.
Community Input
An important part of the process for receiving American Rescue Plan(ARP) Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER III) funds is the Public Plan for ARP ESSER Spending. The ESSER III funds expire on 9/30/2024. We have updated the plan and the budget to reflect our current needs. Your comments are welcome and appreciated. Please go to this link to find the plan and a short Google survey to submit your comments.
