Importance of Arriving On Time
Each morning our classrooms start their day with a Morning Meeting, which strengthens our classroom communities. In addition, Morning Meetings allow authentic opportunities to teach social-emotional competencies, set individual and classroom goals, and set the stage for what students will experience in the day ahead. Morning Meetings represent an extremely valuable time in our students’ days.
I have noticed an increase in the number of students who are arriving after the 8:00 bell. Please use us as a resource if you’re having a hard time getting your child to school. We can partner to develop a
plan that increases student timeliness, which ultimately makes for a more successful day for our students.
Donations to Support Munhall Families
Want to help families in need in the Munhall community through a virtual food drive? I am pleased to announce a partnership with Kids Lift, which is a charity branch of Premium Service Brands, which is a parent company to several area home service businesses. Kids Lift works with organizations in the community to ensure donations go directly to those in the community would who benefit.
Below you will find a link to a wish list of food items for our families who may benefit from support. Any items purchased will be shipped directly to Munhall so we can oversee the products are distributed to our families. Below you will find a link to the wish list, as well as the Kids Lift website:
Masks/Face Coverings
This is a friendly reminder that your child may benefit from coming to school with multiple masks each day. Our school is currently going through disposable masks at an extremely fast rate due to the frequency with which students are forgetting masks.
Have great weekend and enjoy the extra hour of sleep on Sunday morning!
