Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families-- We did it! A goal, five years in the making—Congratulations to our inaugural graduating class of 2023! It was a beautiful ceremony and we wish our senior Falcons the very best as they spread their wings and fly!
It’s no small feat to pull off your first graduation and our team really rallied behind team leader, Kacie Hoard, to make this a memorable event! I want to thank Mr. Joel Seitz, University High School, welding and automotive teacher for the custom metal art we revealed! Joel is truly a master craftsman and he designed and constructed the metal “R’s” that flanked the graduation stage. You can see them in person on display in our main office. Check out this picture of Joel and I and zoom in for a closer look at his work!
Congratulations to our incoming freshman from Greenacres and Selkirk! They each had their 8th grade promotion nights this week and will begin their transition from middle school to high school!
While our last day, Tuesday, June 20, won’t have any instructional time—here’s why we still want our kids to come to school. Last year we started the tradition of having an all-school parade to end the year.
Since we all have to be here anyways, might as well have some fun! Students will do final checkout from all their classes for the first hour. PLEASE TURN IN CHROMEBOOKS AND CHARGERS…(subliminal messaging…) The last hour we stage in the parking lot and the march begins. We all rally together in the stadium, circling the logo on the field. We’ll have some final remarks from various individuals the do our final countdown! Remember, we value the power of ‘moments’. We value the importance of beginnings and endings. And we value the power of gathering together one last time as a Falcon Family. It’s what we do, it’s who we ‘R’.
No school Monday, June 19th. Tuesday, June 20th schedule: 7:45-9:35.
Make it a great weekend! –Mr. Hardt

Intro to Business & Marketing classes
Introduction to Business and Marketing completed a final project for the semester by developing their own concept for a food truck. Students had to conduct primary and secondary research to help make decisions about product, pricing and placement of their trucks. Students then developed a 3d model of their truck, full size menu and grand opening flyers as well as examples of social media posts. A final piece was displaying the truck model and bringing in an actual menu item for other students to taste test!
Falcon Top Chef
Intro to Food Production: students worked hard all semester to build their skills in the kitchen. Our final was Falcon Top Chef today and students prepared a take on lasagna! Congratulations to our winners and thank you to staff judges!
