This Week at Windsor...
#WEAREWINDSOR
January 13th, 2023
Windsor Families,
Happy New Year! I hope you had a relaxing winter break! It was a great week back at Windsor this week.
Just a reminder that there is no school Monday.
Be sure to scroll through this week's newsletter as it has many new and important pieces of information!
Drop and Go on Windsor Drive, please only drop children off at school on the Windsor School side of Windsor Drive. It is very dangerous to have a child exit a car and cross the street in between the flow of traffic of the drop-off line.
To meet the ABC25 membership goal, Windsor still needs several more families to join. If you are able to, please click this link to join: abc25.org/donate.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Mrs. Anastacio and Mrs. Soprano

Staff Spotlight:
Elizabeth Lynch
My name is Elizabeth Lynch, and I am the Technology Facilitator at Windsor! I’ve worked for District 25 since 2020. I graduated Illinois State University in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. Prior to my current position, I was an internal communications intern and project manager at Robert Bosch. I enjoy using my knowledge in managing mobile app and website projects to teach students about a wide variety of technology topics and their real-world applications.
I’ve enjoyed coming back to the district as an adult and relating to our students’ experiences, since I was once a D25 student myself at Olive and Thomas!
Outside of Windsor I enjoy traveling, sewing and aerial silks.
Stella's Station
It’s been an unusual winter with our lack of snow. You can bring some snow into your home by doing a little snowflake research. The Kitchen Counter Chronicle has a way you can investigate this idea with your children at home. You can find the idea here. You can also google “Snowflake Bentley” for a great book about William Bentley, the first known photographer of snowflakes. There are a bunch of youtube read alouds to choose from, or you can check out the book at the library. Happy Exploring! ~Mrs. Stella
