Hello Pyle Families,

We had an eventful week with Jiji the penguin joining us and our PTA Scholastic book fair. Students were excited to celebrate math and visit our book fair.

Spring Break is here! School resumes after spring break on Monday, April 17. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable break. Please encourage your student to visit their Clever page and participate in all programs available to them.

On Thursday, April 20, at 5:00 pm we will have a virtual Community Safety meeting in English, and Friday, April 21 we will be holding a Virtual Community Safety Meeting in Spanish. This meeting will be to discuss safety with the Ernie Pyle community in an effort to determine safety needs and desires for the Ernie Pyle community. We will be asking for volunteers to attend a district safety meeting and represent our EP community during our meeting.

Hello Pyle Families, Think Together is offering Spring Camp during the week of Spring Break April 7-14 from 8-5pm. If you are interested, please visit the Ernie Pyle website and fill out the interest form under the Think Together tab. There are limited spots on a first come first serve basis. Remember that this is an interest form and does not guarantee and spot in the program. This is solely for Spring Break week as our afterschool program is at full capacity.

Hello Pyle Families,

Title 1 Survey

Ernie Pyle is a Title 1 school. Each year in the fall we host a title 1 meeting to share with families what this means. If you were not able to make it to this meeting the presentation is posted on ErniePyleElementary.org on the home page and you can access it by selecting the "Parent Meetings" button. Our Title 1 parent engagement policy is also located on our website under the parent's tab. We have a spring parent survey and we need your help. Please click here to take this survey.

Open enrollment for Kindergarten and TK is now open and will continue until the last day of school and will reopen in August when the school sites return from the summer break. A link for the TK application and enrollment for 2023-24 is available on the District website for parents/guardians.

All students have access in their Clever accounts to a program called Paper Tutoring. This program is for students in grades TK through 12 and it is completely free on-demand tutoring assistance. Please remind your students that this is available to them should they want or need any help on any assignments.
