MUSTANG SPOTLIGHT - MRS. CRISTY REILEY, 1ST GRADE TEACHER AT KINSNER ELEMENTARY
Mrs. Cristy Reiley has been a teacher in our District for more than 12 years. In addition to teaching experience at Zellers and Chapman, Mrs. Reiley currently teaches first grade at Kinsner Elementary. A proud graduate of Strongsville High School (Class of ‘96), Mrs. Reiley still lives in her hometown because she believes Strongsville City Schools is “the best of the best!” She earned her undergraduate degree from Cleveland State University and her graduate degree from Concordia University.
“I have the best job in the world because every single day I get the opportunity to develop students into lifelong learners. Each year, my first graders see the excitement and passion I have for teaching and they get wrapped up in it as well. I also love that my little learners are making connections all the time. They connect to previous lessons, personal experiences, and vocabulary or strategies across our curriculum. This is really exciting to be a part of! The love I get from my ‘Firsties’ - that just may be the very best part of teaching.”
“I hope Kinsner Elementary will be my forever home as a teacher. I walk in happy to see the entire staff that feel more like family and I leave satisfied knowing that even on hard days I will be excited to come back again the next day. It is a blessing to have a huge support system here at Kinsner. Our students witness this every day and they too love seeing the teachers, administrators, and support staff having fun together and sharing laughs. We have all enjoyed the recent addition of "Theme Thursdays" in our building!”
Thank you Mrs. Reiley for continuing to positively impact and instilling a love of learning in our first graders at Kinsner Elementary! #ModelMustang
