It's TIME TO REGISTER FOR 2023-2024 School Year. Earlier this week D25 sent emails to parents inviting them to submit their 2023-2024 online registration. Please complete the online registration process as soon as you can to help us begin planning for another great year at the nest!

Are you MOVING? We will miss you! Please let our office know if your family will not be returning next year.

This week D25 began the process of turning off the heat so that the air conditioners can be ready to go! We are ready for the warm weather. Over the next week or so as the temperatures continue to fluctuate please send your child with a sweatshirt or jacket to wear inside in case they are cold.

Friday, May 12th - Morning Welcome

With so much going on during the month of May we double-booked the morning of Friday, May 12th. We are excited to share that our Music for Youth students will be playing in the courtyard by the OMS sign beginning at 8:50 am. Our Hersey friends and AHPD officers will be back to welcome with a High Five Friday in the fall.

Poem In Your Pocket Day

The entire OMS population celebrated Poem In Your Pocket Day sponsored by the LMC on Tuesday. As students entered the building, they read poems that were chalked on the sidewalk by Mrs. Brown and her CAP program fifth grade helpers. Every student carried several copies of a favorite poem in a pocket. Students selected their own poems to share. Some were written by famous poets and others by the students themselves. During designated trading times during the day, announcements were made to encourage students to share and trade their poems either among their own classmates or with students in other grade levels.
