TECH TIP #1: Have you RESTARTED your computer this week? This is a MUST to keep your computer performing optimally. RESTART is different from shutting your computer down. Restarts reboot or reset your computerโs system and gives it the chance to reset any functions that arenโt operating correctly. Just shutting the computer does not reboot it! Make restarting your computer a weekly maintenance task, and you will be surprised how much it will help computer performance.
TECH TIP #2: Is your Newline board updated to the latest firmware? Your board will let you know when it is time to update by prompting you with a pop-up message. Plan ahead to do the firmware update when you are not needing your board for a lesson. The new v1.2.14 update can take up to 15 minutes!
TECH TIP #3: We are moving to a TECHNOLOGY REQUEST ticket that is created within the Eduphoria Helpdesk just like the Maintenance Requests. This will help us greatly with our To Do List and we can close tickets when the request is completed. Contact your campus principal for more information.
