About Project LIT
MISSION
To encourage an appreciation of "own voices" literature
GOALS
- Build readers and leaders in every school and community.
- Read books that allow all students to see themselves in literature.
- Develop a culture of reading in our schools and personal lives.
- Empower student choice in reading.
- Read because we love it.

Interested students should complete the SV/NV Project Lit Virtual Book Club Google Form to indicate interest, and/or use this code <mhxjsqt> to join the SV/NV Project Lit Book Club Google Classroom. If you have questions, email Mrs. Kauffman (Southview) or Miss Dagel (Northview).
What is Project LIT?
Project LIT is a grassroots network of student-led book groups that aims to get young people excited about reading by highlighting diverse, high-interest, culturally relevant books. Members of the more than 600 Project LIT Community chapters across the country have released 26 new selections, so you're sure to find something that will appeal to every reader.
