We are very lucky to have the dedicated bus drivers and bus office staff.

Beginning October 10, students were asked to record the number of minutes they read so we can compete in the Read With Malcolm reading marathon. This 26 day event seeks to build reading stamina by focusing on the amount of time read. Students will enter their total number of minutes read on October 23 and again at the end of the marathon on November 6.

An interesting fact I have shared with classess over the last few weeks is by reading for just 20 minutes a day, students can see improved academic performance in all subject areas.

So, keep reading, track your minutes, and see how much you improve!

Veterans Day is approaching on November 11th..

Do you have a Veteran that you would like to honor?

St. James will be creating our annual Wall of Honor using pictures of Veterans from the St. James community.

Your social studies teachers will give you a link to a Google Form where you can upload pictures of Veterans that you would like to honor.

8th graders, if you already submitted a veteran last year, we still have it on file so, you don’t have to resubmit unless you have another veteran to honor. Tell your parents to watch their email for the link to the Google Form. The deadline for the completed Google Form is Friday, November 3rd.
