January 2024 Board Report

On December 14, 2023 ACCHS Wrestling team hosted KC Bishop Ward and Silver Lake for their annual dinner dual event. During this event a recognition of the 1982-1983 4A State Championship was held. The Wrestling team defeated KC Turner and Silver Lake.

On December 16, 2023 the ACCHS Powerlifting team competed at their first meet at the season at JCN.

On Saturday, December 6th the High School Girls and Boys Wrestling teams attended the Rossville tournament. The tournament had some very tough wrestlers competing that day with a total of 20 teams. Boys team placed 4th and the Girls Team placed 8th.

On December 15, 2023 Avery and Josie Sutley signed their letters of intent to play college ball at McPherson College and Mid-America Nazarene University.

Student Council sponsored dress up days for the students at the end of the Semester. Each day the best dressed students were picked and prizes were awarded.

On December 11, 2023 Mr. Greg Scheetz hosted the 6-12 Band Concert. All three band sounded wonderful!

On December 18, 2023 Mrs. Amy Eckert hosted the ACCHS Vocal Concert. The mass choir, high school choir, and soundmasters all gave great performances.

On December 6, 2023 the KAY Club welcomed 44 guests from the community for the annual Senior Citizen Dinner. Guests were treated to performances by Mrs. Eckert and the Soundmasters and Mr. Scheetz'sTiger Band! All attendees were gifted wooden snowmen, constructed and painted by Mrs. Bodenhausen's 5th hour Ag students, as well as a lovely homemade placemat and card from Mrs. Cave's art students.
