On Wednesday, our 3rd and 4th graders will be taking the Social Emotional Learning Indicator System or SELIS survey through the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Chelmsford was one of 12 pilot districts to administer this survey to gauge students' social/emotional development at school. The results can help us plan our tiers of support for students at the school and district levels.

Chelmsford's annual K-12 Youth Art Month Exhibit at the Chelmsford Public Library is open through March. This special event showcases pieces representing each school and illustrates the wide range of art created in our programs.

While we are unfortunately not able to host the traditional reception portion of our art show this year, we encourage you and our Chelmsford families to visit the library this month to view the amazing artwork on display and join us in celebrating Youth Art Month. PAINT NIGHT WAS A MASTERPIECE!
Thank you to all who attended and supported paint night by helping to put together art kits, assisting your children at home, and fostering a love of the Arts! It was wonderful to see so many smiling faces holding their finished paintings very proudly!

Stop by Byam School anytime between 5:00-7:00pm on Thursday 4/28/2022 to view the amazing artwork created by our students this year. Every child will have work displayed. Kindergarten and 4th grade artwork will be displayed on the first floor. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade will have artwork displayed on the second floor. There will also be a collaborative poster in the Artroom where you can "Make Your Mark" with a small doodle!

We want to thank you the BSA for providing us with this program. The Audubon Society is fantastic and offers great programs for students. We are so appreciative! The program was very hands-on, tied in with what we are teaching!
