Community Education
Harmony Adult Education at the legislature
Earlier this month, Harmony Adult Education appeared in Senator Tou Xiong's newsletter advocating for adult education. In the newsletter, Senator Xiong stated that he "presented a bill to provide funding for adult basic education programs, especially in rural areas where access can be limited". Our very own Scott Helland, Adult Basic Education (ABE) Coordinator, testified at the legislature.
This Thursday, March 23, is "ABE Day on the Hill." Two of our Harmony students will speak at the rotunda in the State Capitol to a crowd of 100-200 ABE students from around the state.

In many cases, households can get high-speed internet without paying a dime by choosing a fully covered internet plan.
