Welcome To The World

What a beautiful spring this is turning out to be! In just the past few days, we’ve welcomed two newbies to the world...and our little family. Pictured above is Dan, a beautiful Appaloosa colt who took his first wobbly steps under a beautiful starlit sky. We look forward to watching him grow up and grow into his equestrian ministry role with Circle G. Pictured below is Jack, a sweet and silly Golden Doodle who has fit into our lives so well that it almost feels like he must’ve been here all along. He’s a fun addition to my long hours in the Pottery by Maryanne studio. These new babies, the beautiful spring weather, the many revivals and special services on the schedule...they all remind me of what I’ve known all along—that we have a Good Father who delights in giving us the desires of our hearts. It’s a pleasure watching the world gradually get back to normal and looking ahead to all the ministry opportunities over the next few months.

It was so cool to be with the folks at Tuckerdale Baptist Church in Lansing, North Carolina this past week. Half of the congregation listened from the auditorium....and the other half listened via the radio from their cars in the parking lot. It’s been inspiring to see how different churches have adapted to the needs of their people during the pandemic. At Tuckerdale—and at so many other churches we love—with a little bit of ingenuity and flexibility, the Gospel has continued to go out and people are still hearing about Jesus. As for us, we are thrilled to be on the road again, preaching revivals and special services in several states this month.
