CPE Holiday Show
Please join us for our annual holiday shows! The shows will be at San Diego High School auditorium. Each student will get 3 tickets to the show in order to make sure we have enough space for everyone.
Attendance Challenge
We have done a great job with attendance this year! Let's keep it up the last few weeks with an attendance challenge. Our goal for SDISD is to be model school district and to accomplish this we need students at school, learning every day. We typically see a drop in attendance when the temperature drops and we want to give additional motivation to come. If students earn the reward they will get to dress up or wear spirit shirts the last two weeks before the break.
Saturday School
Our next Saturday school is December 9. All students are welcome! We will have some great learning activities that are winter themed as well as cookie decorating and hot chocolate. This is a great time to review for common assessment #3 the next week.
Common assessment #3 will be our longest, hardest test so far this year. We have had great results on our first two tests and look forward to seeing how our students do on the next one. Talk to your child about the importance of growth. If students continue to get better every time they will soon be where they need to. We are asking that you make sure students attend these days well rested and ready to go!
The annual city parade is coming up on December 4 and our AR readers will be featured on our CPE float! The top two students with the most AR points per grade level will be invited. We will also showcase our students who were supposed to be in the homecoming parade. We will send out information to parents November 27 for those students who will be in the parade.
