Congratulations Roadrunners! Led by a group of fifth graders, our water bottle sticker sale was a HUGE success! Our 5 day sale yielded $1,600 in sales which equates to 320 votes for the P-H-M Foudation fundraiser. AMAZING!! Currently Elsie Rogers sits in 4th place out of 15 schools. Each vote costs $5.00. People's Choice Award will go to school with the most votes based on % of enrollment. Each school will get back 25% of their funds raised AND the rest will support innovative teacher grants and programs in ALL 15 P-H-M schools. Voting closes Friday, May 13.

For the culmination of the IDOE Leadership Bootcamp that I've been a part of this past school year, I have had to do an action research project. I'd love to introduce you to Elsie Rogers Sings: A Family Songbook. As a musician, I have loved gathering these songs (and even learning a few new ones!), and as the daughter of a genealogist, learning the stories behind the songs were even more important! I will be presenting this book and the process behind it in Indianapolis this Saturday. A digital copy of the songbook is being shared below to families. Enjoy!
