Credit Recovery

Berkmar's next session of Credit Recovery classes will be after Thanksgiving Break from Monday, November 27 to Friday, December 1 from 2:40 to 5:40 PM. Students must bring their fully charge Chromebook to each session. There will be NO transportation home for your student. Please arrange transportation for your student. Dismissal time is 5:30 PM. See your counselor if you need to register.

Georgia State University Field Trip

There will be a field trip to Georgia State University on Wednesday, November 29th. This trip is open to the first 40 paid juniors and seniors. The cost of the trip is $10 on MyPaymentPlus. Lunch at the college will be $12.

Reach Higher

The counseling department starting a Reach Higher group to raise awareness of the college and career process. This group is open to juniors and seniors who may need extra support with this process. Please sign up in Student Support Time. Click here to sign up if you are interested.

12th Grade Pictures and Yearbook

To schedule senior portraits, visit Cady.com to set up an account, select and pay for their senior portrait session. Students may pick a date and location that is convenient for them. For formal and casual portraits to be published in the 2023-24 edition of the yearbook, students must be photographed by Cady Studios on or before Friday, December 15, 2023. There are no deadline extensions or exceptions.

Yearbooks may be purchased at yearbookordercenter.com. School code: 14851. Order now for the lowest price of the year: $70.

• Instant Decision Day for Georgia Gwinnett College will be held on Monday, November 27th in the media center during PACE. Please see your counselor for an official copy of your transcript prior to the event.

• FSA ID events will be held in the media center on the following dates during PACE. Students and parents will need one. Each person must have his or her own ID. Students can scheduled themselves or get a pass from the counseling office.

• ParentVUE allows parents to view schedules, grades, assignments, and more. Find the app on Google Play or Apple App Store and use the same email address and password as your Parent Portal account.

Warming Stations

Warming Station season is here. Gwinnett County is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, especially during the colder months. With the approaching winter season, we are pleased to inform you about our five Warming Stations, which will be operational between November 2023 through March 2024. When overnight temperatures reach 35 degrees or below, the stations will operate from 6:00pm to 7:00am.
