Dear Palouse Prairie Families,
Of the many reasons I love Palouse Prairie, their Adventure Fridays are one of my favorites. Getting students out of the confines of a classroom and into the habit of exploring the world around them with a focus on health builds grit and academic skills.
Every year Parent CREW plans an active event to fundraise for Adventure Fridays. This year we’ve decided to refresh Run the Palouse with a focus on inclusion and community building. The culminating event for our fundraising, Covey Day, will provide all students with a variety of field day experiences during the school day that will be followed by a playground bbq for families to connect.
We have less than 2 weeks left and we need your help to make this a fun and successful event. What you can do:
Mark your calendar for Friday, Sept. 29th at 2:10pm so you can join us
Look for a green Covey Day form with folder in your student’s backpack
Encourage your student to help with this fundraising - we need $9000 for Adventure Fridays
Sign up here for Parent CREW and help with activity day, set-up, preparing food, lending equipment, etc.
