Cato MCHS Campus Connector
October, 2023 Volume 5, Issue 2
From the Desk of Dr. Davis
Greetings Cato MCHS family,
It has been such a pleasure getting to know our scholars over the past several weeks. In addition to focusing on their studies, many have joined clubs and are passionate about upcoming club activities. I am in awe of how many are doing a great job of managing their time and demonstrating leadership in our school and in the community. I also want to shout out our phenomenal staff who are providing excellent support and guidance as club advisors. Great things are ahead for our students!
I also wanted to share that I have begun checking in with college professors and following up with students one on one. If significant academic concerns are raised, I will reach out to our parents as well. We want to collaborate with you to ensure the success of every scholar at CATO MCHS. Please do not hesitate to have your child show you their grades for their college classes in Brightspace(CPCC’s learning management system). You can continue to check Powerschool for progress in high school stu While we are working to build their independence, they do need to know you are checking in. :)
Lastly, please share with family and friends that the CMS school choice lottery dates have changed. New students to CMS need to enroll by November 13th to participate in the school choice lottery and all new and existing CMS students must apply to the lottery between November 27th and December 29th for the school choice selections they are interested in for the 2024-2025 school year.
Thanks for your continued support of Cato MCHS!
