Wednesday, Oct 13th during break students will be given the opportunity to shop in our new SOAR Store. Students have been earning SOAR tickets since school began. We will have small toy items, school supplies and activities for students to purchase with differing values. We are grateful to PTA for purchasing items in support of PBIS.

We look forward to rewarding students for their ongoing good behavior.

Thank you so much for your support this week. Teachers met with families to discuss each student's progress. It was so fun to see parents walking in and out this week. We all appreciate your hard work as part of the learning team.

There have been a number of occasions this year that adults are standing in the park watching students during PE and play time outside. The staff are concerned about this practice. Our staff does not know all parents, so everyone is a "stranger." In addition, they have noticed that the observing parties appear to be taking picture or video with their phone and at times approach the fence.

If you would like to observe your child's classroom during the school day, please make an appointment with your child's teacher. In addition, it is district policy that volunteers/parents not be allowed to take pictures as there are a number of students whose parents have restricted photo release.

Please be respectful, these policies are in place to ensure the safety of all children. If you notice this behavior, please notify the office.

The 6th Graders of Imperial are hosting a night at Ultimate Ninja on Friday, Oct 20th. The cost is $30 for 2 hours and 75% of all sales will go back to Imperial 6th Graders.
