PTO Announcements
- Bear Run is coming October 6! The Bear Run is our largest fundraiser all year. The funds we raise on this event pay for assemblies, classroom supplies, treats for teachers, scholarships for field trips and so much more! A handout explaining how to raise funds will be sent home in Wednesday folders this week. Create a 99 Pledges account for your child and start reaching out to family and friends to get donations. Our next PTO Meeting is September 20 7-8pm in the library and on Zoom. Ms. Hio & Mrs. Wallace are again hosting game night for students in grades 1-5 in room 14 during the meeting.
Mark your calendars and invite another family to join you at our next Dine & Donate at Nuyo Frozen Yogurt September 21, 2:00-8:00pm.
Calling all parents to help us tie dye shirts for the Bear Run! We will be dyeing over 400 shirts on September 25 from 3:30-7:00pm. Sign up to help here: Tie Dye Party

Thank you for your interest in serving on this districtwide committee to explore options for how best to provide for the physical and emotional safety of students in FCUSD. This committee will be no larger than 30 people and composition will include students, parents, staff, community advocates, and law enforcement agencies and will seek to represent the geographic and racial diversity of our district.
The meetings will follow public health guidance and can switch to virtual at some point if needed.
By completing this application, you are committing to attend each meeting:
- Wednesday, October 11th - 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm - ESC Boardroom
- Wednesday, January 17th - 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm - ESC Boardroom
- Wednesday, April 3rd - 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm - ESC Boardroom
- Wednesday, May 1st - 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm - Cordova Lane Center
Please complete this application by Wednesday, September 27th. Applicants will be notified by Monday, October 2nd if they have been selected to serve on this committee. Thank you for your interest and commitment to our students!
