Happy New Year from the Berthoud Library!

We’re working on maximizing every square inch of space in our building, and that means you’ll see some interior renovations happening soon. While we will do our best to keep disruptions as minimal as possible, we will need to temporarily close our building or serve you through curbside only in the near future. As soon as contractors and building permits are in place we’ll be rolling, so stay tuned for an updated library interior.

We hope you all stay cozy and well-read during these cold winter months. Come see us if you need helping finding something new to read or watch.

COMING IN 2023! The Berthoud Community Library and A Little Help are partnering on a library delivery program in Berthoud.

If you live in Berthoud, are unable to get out in the community, and are interested in having library materials delivered to your home, contact the Berthoud Community Library at berthoudcommunitylibrary@gmail.com or 970-532-2757 to be added to our interest list. We will follow-up with additional details in late January.

We are fully open to the public! Come on in to see us 10am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-4pm (closed from 12-1pm for lunch and cleaning) on Saturdays.

Curbside hours are constant every day, Monday through Saturday, from 10am until 5pm. Please email us at curbside.bcld@gmail.com or give us a call and let us know what we can gather for you. We'll arrange a time to pick up for contactless delivery.

We will be closed on January 2nd for our New Year's holiday.

Hoorah! Storytime is back. Join us for Sunshine Storytime every Wednesday & Friday at 10:30AM.

Tinker Tots is a new STEAM focused class for 3-6 year old children and their grown ups. We will meet once a month to read, learn, and experiment with simple science concepts. Our first meeting is on January 12th.

Class is about an hour long, you can sign up for the 10:30AM or the 4PM slot, whichever works best for your schedule. Registration is required.

Join us as we free-write, critique, and hone our craft together.

All genres of writing welcome. We meet every Monday from 10:30AM to 11:45AM.

Join us for a locally-sourced dinner on January 12th at 6PM as we discuss topics important to our community. This month’s theme is “Community Involvement”. Registration Required.

Join us for a locally-sourced breakfast on January 20th at 8AM as we discuss topics important to our community. This month’s theme is “Community Involvement”. Registration Required.

We will continue meeting on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 1:30PM and 6:30PM. Come to whichever time works for you.

Our monthly Knit & Crochet Drop-in will meet on Friday the 27th of January from 1-4PM.

This is not a class, just a place for fellow crafters to meet and knit/crochet together. This is a drop-in event.

Construct & Concoct is a NEW monthly event for teens to come and make things, exploring art and science. This month's event is "Nailed it! Cupcakes".

We will meet on January 19th from 4:30 to 5:30PM. No registration required.
