CHS Family Update
December 2nd, 2019
In The Know
Welcome back from what I hope was a very refreshing and relaxing weekend. I always enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend. My family always reveres it to be a weekend where we can gather as a family and give thanks and feel gratitude for the many blessings we have received in life. It is also a time for us to enjoy each others company and share time with loved ones. I hope that you were able to have a meal as a family and share some quality time together.
We return to school with a new trimester in front of us. The middle trimester tends to fly by in my opinion. It is sneaky like that for some reason. I encourage both students and families to focus on staying on top of Synergy (ParentVue and StudentVue) to track and stay on top of assigments. We will have a substitute in the attendance office for approximately two weeks. Please know that we are working hard to keep our records accurate and communicate with you the best we can. If you have questions please feel free to contact the main office at 541-790-5100 and we will do everything we can to help resolve your inquiries.
As for right now we have three very critical weeks of learning in front of us before we go to Winter Break. Now is the time for a strong academic focus as we come off of a bit of a break. It is a great way to get a head start on the trimester by focusing all our efforts on this next three weeks.
Let's do this Churchill!

Kudos
Thank you Counselors (Nita and Katy) for the wonderful coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cider bar on Monday. This was a wonderful pick me up. In the midst of being overwhelmed you took time out of your day to think of everyone else. Thank you for your selfless efforts.
Thank you Dorothy Stolsig for bringing in English Muffins, butter, homemade apple butter to add to the spread in the staff lounge. We are fortunate to work with someone like you with such a heart and sense of giving. You exemplify what the spirit of the holidays means - to give without expectation of return.
