• If you missed ANY of our concerts from this year (or last!) they will all be posted in the band website under the performing ensemble.

• IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE: Mini Band Camp will be held on June 9th ONLY from 8am - 12pm. This is not mandatory but highly encouraged for attendance. Students will meet the next season's marching band, read through music for the first time and begin their journey in the marching world.

• The next BPA meeting will be June 26th from 6-8 pm at the Prairie West Library. Please check your email for any updates regarding this meeting.

Next year's marching band show will be called Encounters. It will be based on the different types of "kinds" with the other-wordly creatures. Be on the lookout for upcoming prop meeting dates and other information on ways you can be a part of this show! It's going to be out of this world!!

Deposits will be due June 9th. If you are planning on ordering shoes/gloves, please return this form by June 9th to Mrs. Decker.

Do you still owe money for marching band fees? If so, your payment is past due. Do you need financial assistance? Please talk with the directors or a BPA member.

Limited scholarship money is available. Fill out this form and email to Nicole Decker to be considered for a scholarship.

Turn grocery shopping and gas purchasing into money for your band student's account. For every $100 in Hy-Vee Gift Cards purchased get $4.75 deposited into your band student's account.

Here's how it works:

1. Drop your order in the Hy-Vee box.* (Order forms can be found below).

2. Use your cards at Hy-Vee as if they were cash.

3. A monthly deposit if made into your band student's account equal to 4.75% of your purchased cards.

Thrivent Choice lets eligible Thrivent members recommend where they feel Thrivent should distribute some of its annual outreach funding by choosing from thousands of enrolled churches and nonprofit organizations nationwide, including the Sioux Falls Roosevelt High School Band Parent Association.

Don't forget the Roosevelt BPA is a 501(C)3 organization and financial gifts are tax deductible!

ALL band parents are HIGHLY encouraged to attend the monthly Band Parents Association meetings! The RHS BPA provides the fundraising dollars and volunteer support that are ESSENTIAL to helping our childresn have sucessful band experiences. BPA meetings are held monthly and are open to ALL BAND families. Show your support for your student and the entire band program at RHS! We have MANY leadership roles to fill for next year.
