Safety, Security, and K-9 sweeps
This year, we will work with Officer Price & Officer Roe to keep our students and staff safe in our building. One way is we will have occasional K-9 sweeps on our campus. Student safety is a top priority in our district.
Review our high school handbook to see student guidelines that support a safe building for all of our students.
PowerSchool Sign-In Update for Students
Students can now log into PowerSchool hassle-free using their student Google accounts. While the new Google login is recommended for its simplicity, students can still use the original method to log in (using username and password).
Students should click on the blue ‘Student Sign In’ button on the lower right to log in.
Anxiety & Depression Support Groups
Many of our students experience emotional ups and downs throughout their high school years. Research indicates that students with solid self-awareness and good coping skills do better academically and socially during high school and beyond.
This year our school is working with TRAILS (Transforming Research into Action to Improve the Lives of Students) to support our students’ social, emotional, and behavioral health. We will be offering a skills group for students experiencing symptoms of anxiety and/or depression.
If you are interested in this group, please read this letter for details and return the attached permission slip by Friday, September 8.
