Preparing For Parent-Teacher Conferences
While the 2023-2024 school year has just begun, we will soon begin scheduling fall Parent-Teacher Conferences, which will be held virtually, via Zoom, on Thursday, Oct. 12, from 5-8:30 p.m., and on Friday, Oct. 13, from 8 a.m.-12 p.m.
All Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place via Zoom. In the case that you are unable to participate via Zoom, please contact the teacher directly.

City Seeks High School Student Representatives For Boards, Commissions
Mayor Scott A. Wehrli and the Naperville City Council invite all Naperville resident high school students to fill student positions on several City boards and commissions and participate in a Leadership Academy, presented through a partnership with KidsMatter. The deadline to apply is Thursday, Sept. 14, 2023.
The City invites students to apply for the following City of Naperville boards and commissions: Financial Advisory Board, Historic Preservation Commission, Human Rights & Fair Housing Commission, Naper Settlement Museum Board, Naperville Public Library Board of Trustees, Public Utilities Advisory Board, Riverwalk Commission, Sister Cities Commission, Special Events & Community Arts Commission and Transportation Advisory Board. There are more than 20 positions available. In addition to serving on a City board or commission, all student representatives are invited to attend the Leadership Academy.

ChatGPT/OpenAI Opt-Out Deadline For Students Grades 8-12
Beginning on Monday, Sept. 11, all Naperville 203 students in Grades 8-12 will be able to access ChatGPT/OpenAI on their district devices -- unless the opt-out form below is completed by a parent/guardian. If you do want your student to have access to ChatGPT/OpenAI, you do not need to do anything. Your student will automatically receive access on Sept. 11.
Dominican Republic Opportunity for Naperville 203 High School Students
Current NCHS & NNHS students have a unique opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic over Spring Break in 2024! This is a true adventure, with whitewater rafting, hiking & ziplining through the rainforest, snorkeling & surfing in the ocean, and taking a pottery workshop, dance lesson, & Jiu Jitsu class! The parent info session will be at NCHS on Tuesday, Sept. 26, at 7 p.m.
New Video Series Offers Look Inside Our Classrooms
As Naperville 203 continues to elevate its efforts to keep our community informed, we're proud to unveil a new monthly video series that offers stakeholders a look into our school district's educational process.
Each month we will share a new video that focuses on one of the 10 components of Naperville 203's Instructional Mindset, which was designed to capture the values of Naperville 203's approach to teaching and learning. Please watch our first video on Facilitating Purposeful Instruction.
8th Grade Career Exploration Event: Career Motive-8
In partnership with area businesses, Naperville 203 will once again host our Fall 8th Grade Career Exploration Day to motivate students to continue career exploration & planning. KidsMatter Volunteer Fair
The annual KidsMatter Volunteer Fair is Tuesday, September 19th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Fort Hill Activity Center 20 Fort Hill Drive, Naperville. Come to learn about volunteer opportunities in our community! Whether you like working outside, with children, animals, whether you are 9 or 99…. There is a volunteer opportunity for you! High School Student YAC Meeting Sept 12: Calling all D203 high school students to join the Youth Advisory Committees (YAC) first meeting of the year on Tuesday, September 12th from 6:30-8:00 pm at 360 Youth Services (1323 Bond St #119 Naperville, IL). Meet new friends, learn more about YAC/leadership opportunities, and substance use prevention activities all while gaining service hours and making beaded bracelets!
