Dear Paddock Families,
I hope you are all having a great weekend and enjoying the sunny weather. As a reminder, last day of school for kindergartners will be Thursday, June 1st and Friday, June 2nd for 1st-6th graders. June 2nd is a half day and all students will be dismissed at 11:25. Please plan accordingly.

Bears Mini Monsters Clinic
All students must have a waiver form signed by a parent/guardian to participate. Paper and electronic waivers have already been sent home. If you need a new waiver, please contact the Paddock main office or your child's teacher.

Progress Reports
Student Registration 2023-2024
Online student registration for the 2023-2024 school year is open. Please visit the District registration page to start this process. All returning students MUST be registered by August 1, 2023, or they will be disenrolled from CCSD15. Students who have not completed their registration requirements will not receive a classroom assignment.
After you register your child online you need to:
- Pay student fees. Our student fee webpage provides more information on this.
- New families to the district, kindergarten students, families with a lease, and families that were flagged by our third-party residency verification system are required to provide proof of residency to complete the registration process. Our residency webpage outlines the documents you will need to provide to prove residency.
All three steps of the enrollment process (register, student fees, residency) must be completed prior to the start of the school year.

Brightbytes Survey
Parents of 3rd-6th grade students are being asked to complete the Brightbytes survey. This survey will provide our school with insights into our new and changing learning environments with the goal of ensuring equitable learning support for all students. The goal is to empower students to live up to their potential, enjoy their learning experiences, and emerge ready to take on the world.
We are requesting that you help us by completing the survey prior to June 2nd. The survey will take approximately 5 minutes to complete and your responses will remain anonymous. If you have not already completed the BrightBytes Modern Learning Survey for parents, click here to participate. Thank you for taking part in this important initiative!

PTA Activity Committee Leads
To prepare for all the fun school activities for next year, the Paddock PTA is looking for any parents/guardians interested in helping to plan and lead these events. If you are interested in getting involved as a lead or co-lead for the open committees, please contact Stephanie Sverdlov at stephsverd@gmail.com.
Description of Current Open Committees:
- Pantherfest - our Spring indoor carnival open to all Paddock families
- School Supply Kits - work with the online school supply distributor and principal to ensure school supply lists are updated to the website
- Second Grade Book Club - host a once weekly recess book club from January to March
- Third Grade Book Club - host a once weekly recess book club from January to March
- Fourth Grade Book Club - host a once weekly recess book club from January to March
- Fifth Grade Book Club - host a once weekly recess book club from January to March
- Sixth Grade Book Club - host a once weekly recess book club from January to March
- Family Reading Night- a one time activity in October that is hosted in the evening during our fall book fair
- Spark Liaison - representative to be in contact with the Spark program for relaying dates of the Spark meetings to our PTA Virtual Backpack and Facebook lead
