Happy Friday Coyote Families!
Week three was amazing! Even though the heat of the day minimized outdoor play a bit, the classrooms were alive with lots of learning and discovery. Our teachers continue to build relationships and support each student in their care. Our emergency drill last Tuesday was a huge success and students and staff did an amazing job practicing this important activity.
The PTC Membership Drive is ON, so get those forms in and help your student's class be the big winners! We will be rewarding the TWO classes with the highest membership returns with both Rita's and Pizza Factor vouchers!
Thank you to all of you who attended Wednesday's general PTC meeting, it was so great to meet you. If you weren't able to attend, we look forward to seeing you at the next meeting in October. Please don't forget to check our new website for regular updates.

Each Cole Canyon student is unique and part of our coyote pack, striving to be a H.E.R.O. each day. Our staff has continued the tradition of modeling what it means to be Helpful, Encouraging, Respectful, and Outstanding! Thank you for reinforcing these character attributes at home. Kids learn best when we have solid school-home connections.
Data Watches- Families, please help us reinforce the appropriate use of data watches. We recognize that many parents/guardians like to send their kids to school with an iWatch or other device on their wrist as a form of communication, but they can become a distraction to the learning environment once the watch is used to play a game, send message or receive or send a call. We appreciate your support and ask that you speak to your child about the proper use of data watches.
Enjoy your weekend... and we look forward to seeing you soon on our great Cole Canyon campus!
