Dear Parents and Carers,
This week, as we approach the final week of the Spring Term, I hope you are starting to feel that we have turned a corner with the weather and better things are to come! Let’s hope so.
Science Week
This week, we have had a Science focussed week in school which has been excellent fun! We launched on Monday with a solar planetarium tent in the hall where each class had the opportunity to sit inside and learn all about space and planets. This was excellent and since Monday, I have been inundated with children showing me additional pieces of home learning they have done linked to space. Throughout the week, each class has carried out Science lessons with a different focus. Mrs Turner, our Science subject lead, has even invited pupils to watch various dissections which the children absolutely loved! Here are a few photos of our amazing Science Week in school.
Coffee Morning
Thank you to all parents/carers who attended our coffee morning on Thursday and for the excellent feedback given to school. We were over the moon with the turn out and know that the information shared has supported many with the aspect of emotion coaching of children. Thank you to all agencies who attended and to Miss Whale, our Inclusion Lead and SENDCO for arranging and leading the session. Please keep a look out for further sessions in the Summer Term.
