Retrieval Practice, not Random Practice
Bell ringers, bell work time, warm-ups, do now, whatever you call them.
They are more than just getting students to sit down and be quiet (although it does help for that structure).
Bellringers are great for retrieval practice, a strategy to help learning stick by bringing it up again at a later time.
Try some of these ideas and templates below to bring a bellringer routine to your classroom AND make it easy using technology.
Load them onto Schoology/Google Classroom, and watch students' outcomes improve!
