The CMIT Writers
The CMIT Writers Union is thrilled to announce the launch of our school's very own literary magazine, The Roaring Times! This creative endeavor aims to showcase the diverse talents and imaginative voices within our school community. The Roaring Times is a platform where students, teachers, and staff can share their literary creations, including poetry, short stories, essays, and more. It's a celebration of the written word, a canvas for self-expression, and an opportunity to foster a love for literature within our school.
Let your creativity run wild, and let's make The Roaring Times a treasure trove of our collective literary talents!
Creative works can be submitted at https://forms.gle/b2pdvurFEWY5BWbn9.

Ms. Coholic's BioGeoChem Class
Students are continuing 3rd quarter chemistry focus. This coming week, students will be discovering the properties of water leading to its reputation as the "universal solvent". Students will also be learning the reason why oils do not mix with water. The reasons for the necessity of water for living things will also be covered in this unit as students prepare to learn more about the ocean and ocean acidification.
ATTENTION ALL BUSINESS OWNERS!
CMIT North Academy will be hosting a Culture Festival. We are looking for vendors to participate in the event. Students are also welcome to participate as a vendor if they have a small business! This will help to get more exposure.
Culture Fest will take place April 6 from 10AM-1PM right here at CMIT North Academy. If you are the owner of a small or large business and would like to either advertise or sell merchandise, please consider signing up for this event. It is open to the community!
Please follow the directions on the flyer in order to reserve your table. Should you have any questions please feel free to use the email from the flyer to contact Ms. Upshaw.
