Bison Brief
Buffalo Trail ES March 17, 2024
Principal's Message
Hello BTES Families,
I hope you are enjoying this beautiful afternoon! We have just one week of school before spring break begins. In addition to all the learning in your child’s classroom, this will be a week of school-wide fun, as well.
We met our goals for Boosterthon, so it is time for Mrs. Mehalchick and I to keep our end of the bargain! On Monday, we will spend the day visiting classes in inflatable unicorn suits! Then on Thursday, with our $20 K goal met, we will meet the slime team at the end of the school day. The music at recess reward and a week of recess with the AP and Principal are being scheduled as well. Congratulations to Mrs. Tydlacka’s class for winning the recess block through top participation school-wide!
I’d also like to say, “Thank you to everyone for a wonderful Friday Evening Bollywood event!” There were beautiful clothes, fun crafts and lots of dancing! We appreciate our parent team and PTA for all their support to make this possible!
We all hope you a wonderful week!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Rogaliner,
Principal

All clothing should cover students appropriately so they can run, bend, move and play safely during the day without exposure.
Clothing that exposes underwear or private body parts is not permitted. If your child is constantly tugging or adjusting fabric then that item is not suitable for their comfort or personal privacy in school. Flip flops are not permitted for student safety as well. Sandals must be secured with back straps. A copy of the LCPS dress code policy is attached.
