Omaha North High Magnet Mission Statement
The mission of Omaha North High Magnet School is to prepare all students for success in lifelong studies and careers.
Message from Dr. Nero, Principal
Greetings Viking Families,
We are less than 30 school days away from the end of the 2021-22 school year. We are so proud of all that our students have accomplished. We have lots to celebrate in the coming weeks. While graduation is our goal for all students, we want everyone to develop critical thinking, social interaction/collaboration, and problem-solving skills along the way.
While much has been written, said, or shared via social media about safety concerns, please know that safety is not a competing priority. Safety is always our top priority. We also recognize that hurting people hurt people and some students are still developing emotional regulation and coping skills to help them become their best selves. I assure you that our team shows up with our heads held high and our hearts wide open ready to support students in need ensuring a safe and secure learning environment for all!
Continue to talk with your student(s) about the importance of being a Viking-being respectful, responsible, and accountable. With everyone working together, we look forward to a strong finish to the school year.
Please read this newsletter carefully for important dates and upcoming events. As always we thank you for your continued support and involvement in the Viking Community. If you have any questions, please call us 531-299-2700.
Go Vikings!
Viking Families, we want to hear your voice!
