Lions Lines Updates, January 12, 2024

Lost & Found has grown in the short time we have been back at school. With the upcoming winter weather, children may be needing their jacket or coat that has been left behind. The items have been left outside the front doors of the building this weekend to make it easier for parents to drive by and look through.

IF A NAME IS ON THE LOST ITEM, WE ARE ABLE TO RETURN IT TO THE STUDENT.

Efforts are made to return lost items to the student but if no one claims, the items will be donated at the end of day on January 31.

Attention 5th Grade Parents!!

We have started working on the 5th Grade Memory Book! Please read the details below!

Please only send 1 picture per student for each type of picture
Please label your email with Title of Photo and Name of Student
If you have multiple 5th graders, please send individual emails
Please check the deadline date for pictures, once the date has passed the picture cannot be added!
Every 5th Grade student will receive a Memory Book towards the end of the year

* Library News *

Name that Book:

Grade Level competition will be Feb. 2nd during large group time for 3-5th grade. Parents of students participating are welcome to attend. Notices will go home with students next week.

2nd 9 week Birthday Book Bunch Party

January 26th during the school day. Students who are part of the book bunch and have birthdays in the 2nd 9 weeks will receive invitations next week to the birthday book party.

Author visit for 3-5th grade:

Drew Brockington January 31, 2024 during the school day. Books can be purchased through school cash account and will be autographed by author the day of the visit.

Birthday Book Bunch

Celebrate your birthday with the Hamilton Lions. The Birthday Book Bunch is a great way to celebrate your birthday and reading! The $20 fee includes: new book donated to the library with your child's name plate inside, birthday party in the library (the 9 weeks during their birthday), student's name on the birthday wall.
