Very interesting!
What is the difference between cooperation & collaboration? They both focus heavily on the importance of teamwork. However, there is a major difference between the two terms. Collaboration addresses situations in which people work together on a shared goal, while cooperation involves working with others to help them achieve their individual goals. Collaboration involves the mixing of ideas to reach the great idea that makes everyone better. Studies have shown that collaborative teams are 5X higher performing than cooperative teams, because they FEEL motivated towards the same goal. Collaboration can take much more work & is "inherently messy", because it requires leaders to align their goals & to synchronize their strategies in order to achieve the necessary results.

What do you love about ES? Our community spirit! There are too many to list, & all deserve praise, but here a couple local businesses that I'm grateful to have. Ray's Diner for the fantastic breakfast this morning! Willow Spring Mercantile for being able to grab some local honey this week. Mind, Body & Soap for keeping us clean & smelling fantastic with their wonderful natural homemade soap. Lung Fu Do Kenpo Karate Systems - Tiger Dragon Karate Club for training our youth with discipline & the knowledge to defend themselves. Smith's Barber Shop always friendly & providing quality trims & haircuts. While there are many more... I'll stop here for now, but I'll leave it with a general statement. Thank you to all the local businesses. May you get overwhelmed with support & business! I'm born & raised in Japan. And I visited a few different countries. But I haven't found a place I WANT to live besides ES so far. Oh, I especially love beautiful parks in ES!. The people, community, the ones who love our town!! We all treat each other with respect & willingness to help. A lot of great people here! Read it on Facebook.
